I got to spend All Hallows Eve with this handsome Sheriff (and his lovely parents).
Aren't I lucky?!
"If one could only learn to appreciate the little things ... A song that takes you away, for there are those who cannot hear. The beauty of a sunset, for there are those who cannot see. The warmth and safety of your home, for there are those who are homeless. Time spent with good friends, for there are those who are lonely. A walk along the beach, for there are those who cannot walk. The little things are what life is all about." -- Shadi Souferian

Thursday brought musical night. This is probably the 7th season that Holly and me have had season tickets. It is a nice, guaranteed time that we have together. The show was In the Heights. It was quite enjoyable.
Friday night brought the end of a busy week, but not before getting in a great game of hockey between the Portland Winterhawks and the Seattle Thunderbirds with Megan, Corina and Julie. It was a first time hockey experience for Megan and Julie. It was a great first game for them to see. At the end of the 3 periods it was tied and eventually made it into sudden death shoot out with Portland winning!
It was great to take time with this family that I love. I had time with each of the girls by themselves while the other was napping and even had a great opportunity to visit with Beth while both girls were napping for a few minutes at the same exact time. It was wonderful. It made me want them to be closer again. Thanks for the visit, Dad! Love you lots and come back before another 5 years passes! :)
